Lindum Plant could be found at Saxilby Gala on Saturday (16th July) providing entertainment for visitors with their mini digger activity.

Many of the visitors, young and old, were keen to try their hand at being a digger driver on the day.

Under the watchful eye of experienced instructor Nick Wright they were guided through the exercise to drop the hazard light into various tubes, which at first may look easy but in reality is anything but.

Keith Taylor, Community Engagement Officer for Saxilby with Ingleby Parish Council, organised the event and afterwards he said “I have had some excellent feedback from adults and children who attended the gala on Saturday. “The Gala was brilliant and should be an annual event” was just one of the comments received and without Lindum’s sponsorship and Mini Digger activity this response would never happen. Can I say a BIG THANK YOU for supporting the Gala.”

Tom Robertson, MD of Lindum Plant, added “We are pleased to have been able to support this community event and are delighted that visitors to the Saxily Gala had such a good time. Those who took part in our mini digger activity enjoyed the experience and thanks to Nick for giving up his Saturday to do this. Our thanks also to local JCB supplier TC Harrison who kindly lent us a brand new mini digger for the day as all of our own plant was out on hire.”
